I've always wondered why there are "two types of people."
You know what I mean?
Like, one person eats the oreo like a sandwich and the other splits it and devours the center.
Or, one person can wake up with just one gentle alarm in the morning and the other needs a barrage of constant pounding and ringing to successfully wake up.
I feel like whenever I try to think about what kind of person I consider myself out of both of those scenarios, I tend to be the more...pathetic...one.
I'm that type of person that needs like, at LEAST 5 different alarms to be set or else I WILL NOT WAKE UP.
No. Scratch that. I'll wake up...it's getting my body physically out of the bed that I need multiple alarms for.
This is pretty much how I wake up every morning. I'll wake up at 5:45 am. By that time, I should be in the shower...but no. I tell myself, "Okay...you can look through all of your social media outlets till 6. I have 15 minutes to diddle on my phone. Then at 6, I'll get in the shower, be out by 6:15, be dressed and ready by 6:30. Of course I'll have time for breakfast! from 6:30 to 6:40 I'll be eating a nutritious bowl of cereal, and by 6:45 I'll be out the door and headed for school!"
How often does this pan out the way it's supposed to?
Not often at all. Actually, I wake up at 6:30, throw a flannel over last night's clothes that most likely slept in, wash my face if it's too far gone, brush my teeth, rush out the door at 6:50, stop by the school snack shop at 7:08 even though class starts in 2 minutes and buy myself a chocolate brownie.
Tell me I'm not the only one?
